It's day 7 of my sugar cleanse. Going strong! Zero sugar cravings - but I sure do enjoy looking at yummy sweet things on friend's blogs and I'm still waiting to use the mini donut pan I got for Christmas.
On the weekend a few of my girlfriends were over for a birthday celebration. Normally we enjoy
Raw Pizza
You've seen this one many times before on the bloggie. Recipe HERE. Buckwheat tomato pizza crust, sun dried tomato sauce, pesto, sunflower seed cheese, spinach, marinated mushrooms and red pepper. This is always a winner.
Stuffed Mushrooms
I found this great recipe and made a few minor modifications. A mixture of cooked mushroom stems, sundried tomatoes, onion, garlic, and spinach, mixed with just a few spoonfuls of yogurt (instead of the cream in the recipe). I sprinkled them with raw parmesan and popped em' into the oven (omitted the breadcrumbs).
Thai Veggie Wraps
Nicole requests these every time so naturally they were on the menu. Stuffed with spiralized zucchini and carrot, cucumber, red pepper, and avocado. The dipping sauce is lime juice, tamari, fresh ginger, garlic, toasted sesame oil, and olive oil.
Veggies with Onion Garlic Yogurt Dip
A simple veggie platter with a new dip that I threw together just minutes before their arrival. This is especially great with the crackers from Twin Cakes Bakery! I cooked up some onion, spinach, and garlic and mixed it into some greek yogurt along with a little mustard powder and himalayan salt. I'll be making this one again! If you do yogurt, try it. If not, cook up the veggies and add to a thick cashew cream.
Have any yummy sugar free recipes or ideas, raw, vegan, or paleo? Let me know!

Your recipes are the best!!!
Your veggie dip looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
I am watching my sugar intake too.
Sure makes a difference in cravings.
I am experimenting with paleo bread recipes. I am using almond meal and coconut flour as the base.
Kindly,
Frannie
That vegan pizza looks killer! I believe even a non-vegan/raw foodist would love to eat it!
Thanks gals!
Alison - great idea to use cucumber as the bread!
Frannie - I haven't experimented with paleo breads yet but I've seen some recipes with coconut flour. They look great!
I always dread the idea of giving up sweets, but your menu looks worth it :-)
