Adventures in Toronto - Lunch with the Girls

It was a magical visit with The Raw Beauties. Seven of us bloggie friends met at Raw Aura in Toronto for lunch on a Monday afternoon. I have adored these gals for a while and it was so wonderful to meet them in person. A stranger wouldn't have been able to tell that most of us were meeting for the first time. It felt like meeting with old friends! If you haven't already been to their awesome blogs, check out: Nelly, Kelli, Camille, Marlie, Lisa, and Kristen.

The food was fabulous! We all shared a few orders of the nachos, and agreed they were delicious.

The other appetizer we tried was the veggie spring rolls, in rice paper wraps which technically aren't raw, but that didn't phase any of us. These rolls were so good, especially the Asian dipping sauce!

I chose the caesar salad with onion bread croutons for my main. I loved the salad, although it was slightly too peppery. Camille and Nelly each had a caesar salad wrap which looked equally delish!

Marlie and Kelli shared the Pad Thai and I had a bite... ooh ooh ooh! Really yummy!

But of course I had to try a little dessert! I went for the brownie ball which had the icing on the inside. Cute idea right?! Kinda reminded me of chocolate moonie pie cake.

A wonderful visit... I can't wait to see all these rawsome girlies again!
