I love lavender. I use it in homemade cleaners too.
I love peppermint oil! I put a drop or two in a glass of water to ease an upset stomach. Works like a charm! It's also very refreshing.

My favourite seems to be lavender- I find myself putting it in everything from body scrubs to face oils. I use it for its versatility and its aromatherapy properties (amd the relatively inexpensive price!). :)

hmmm...this is a deal breaker between tea tree oil and cinnamon. tea tree for it's versatility and cinnamon for putting on my lips to make them plump! Now if only there were a chocolate oil?! :)

I tried to post this on Philips website bit it has been spinning for over 2 hours.This is a tuff question. I am a massage therapist and I make my own massage oils. I use only Young Living Oils. I also teach for CARE (center for AromaTherapy Research and Education). So I have lots of knowledge in the chemistry of oils. So with that said I can see why Heather likes Rose, it vibrates at 320 MHZ! I would have to say my favorite is also peppermint for an all day kind of oil. I am addicted to it. But as an massage oil I like Copaiba oil. Most of my clients dont like heavy smells so this one is perfect for a lite smell, pain relieving, great for skin and has a smooth heavenly glide. This oil is alos RAW! The Copaiba tree is tapped like a maple tree is when getting syrup. The oil is bottled as is, no processing at all. Sorry for the long letter. Hard topic not to write a book about.

I love oils that take over all your senses, I would have to say peppermint or eucalyptus. By just smelling them you can taste them and vice-versa, I love it!
I keep a bottle that has both lavender and tea tree - so awesome, fragrant and refreshing. I use this combo on my face (moisturizer/toner) and on my feet (helps with blisters), and even mix it with lotion to rub it everywhere else!

This is so hard b/c there are so many wonderful choices. Grapefruit, almond, lavendar. But I think my all time fav is Eucalyptus.

It's such a toss-up! they all do such different things. But I love Bergamont, Lemongrass, Sandalwood, Chamomile... and of course life wouldn't be full without luxurious Lavender.
As with many other respondents, Lavender is my essential oil of choice.

My favorite oil is Lavender, I use Young Living oils and I trust them. The Lavender is a warm bath is very relaxing. My 2nd oil is Peppermint, I use this one in My raw chocolate. Also peppermint helps clear the nose and rubbed on the back of your neck on a long drive helps keep you awake.

Love combining cinnamon bark and orange......smells so good and when added to water it sanitizes the floors and smells 1000% better than Mr Clean.
I LOVE Sandalwood and Patchouli, my recent new fav is orange.
I have a soft spot for Frankincense because it holds a special place in my family traditions with my older, female relatives.
On day-to-day, I love citrus, cinnamon, mint, lavendar --hard to pick a fave there! ;)

honestly, i don't actually use essential oils directly. i like the natural smell of the beauty/bath products i buy. but then again, i also don't really buy anything more than baking soda, coconut oil, and dr. bronners. BUT since this is a CONTEST and i am COMPETITIVE, i am going to go with coconut 'cause that's the strongest scent i usually smell/end up smelling like. it's calming and comforting, yet invigorating all at the same time! ;) yay coconut!

My favorite oil would have to Neroli (aka Orange Blossom). I live in FL, and that smell reminds me of growing up surrounded by orange groves, picking oranges, tangerines, and grapefruits with my grandparents, mom, and cousins...very nostalgiac for me, and in the best possible way! I love it!

Wow. There's a big response to this one. I like so many that it's difficult to pick just one. Of course, I love vanilla (it's an unbaking thing, right?), but I especially like the freshness of citrus, especially grapefruit.

I like lavender the best. It isn't my favorite smell, but it works on so many things, from acne to cuts and burns. You can even put it in food. It is essential to have around.
I like Tea Tree oil. I use it as an all purpose cleaner with white vinegar.
