I just downloaded your e-book and it looks marvelous. I have a question though, what nut would you suggest substituting for Brazil nuts? I have a horrible allergy to them. I am thinking of almonds, but want to defer to your judgement. Thank you! I cannot wait to try the Double Chocolate Maca Cake.

Wait, this is the same one that was available about a month ago; right? Because I already got it, unless it's another one.

I enjoy your blog and I have the Sweet Gratitude book as well. So it's good to see what you've tried!

Rebecca, Thank you, Im so glad you're enjoying it! :D

Aubbie - Yes, absolutely you can sub almonds for the brazil nuts. I've actually done that a few times and it still turns out great. That maca cake is one of my faves!

Utopian - Yup, it is indeed the same book - I just bumped it up to the top of my page as a refresher. I will be bringing out another book within the next few months though :)
Yeah isn't Sweet Gratitude great?! What have you tried from it?

Utopian Kitchen - I just tried to check out your blog but see that I need to be invited. Would you be open to sharing with me so I could check it out? Your name got me curious ;) Thanks!

Oh, that's because I don't use the Google or Blogspot blog anymore. My blog is www.utopiankitchen.wordpress.com. I make cooked food sometimes, so the raw-only section is: http://utopiankitchen.wordpress.com/category/raw-food/.

I have made the pecan turtle cheesecake (everyone including me loved it!) and also the chocolate raspberry cake. Very good!

I look forward to your next book.

I'm cured of purchasing raw chocolate bars! I LOVE your peanut butter cup recipe/dark chocolate recipe. :) I didn't get a pic because I knew it wouldn't turn out well, though, with my camera and the lack of color.

I love the turtle pecan cheesecake too! I have a whole list of things to make from the book.
So glad you like the choco peanut butter cups :) Yay!

These all look so yummy. I can't read anything though...it's too hard to see the words with the colors almost the same on the background. Great photos! I want your book!

I just found your site and your recipes look great!

Question: I really would like to start eating raw but It seems though that most of your recipes call for nuts and I horrible allergy to all of them. I would like to buy your book but would like to know if there is any substitute I can use instead of nuts?

You can email me at: jennifer@emmasinvites.com
Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.

I love, love your e-book. So far I made the Quick N Easy Moist Chocolate Cake, Raspberry Lemon Pie, Oatmeal Cookies, Double Chocolate Energy Bars, Super Granola Bars...loved everything. After my workout The Granola Bars or Double Chocolate Energy Bars are a great pick me up. Happy I came across your blog last winter.

Brightest Blessings, Selena
